Updated glusterfs packages that fix a bug are now available for the Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.1 client.

Description

Red Hat Gluster Storage is a software only scale-out storage solution
that provides flexible and affordable unstructured data storage.
It unifies data storage and infrastructure, increases performance,
and improves availability and manageability to meet enterprise-level
storage challenges.

Previously, due to a bug in the libgfapi library, applications that used libgfapi to access Red Hat Gluster Storage sometimes became unresponsive or terminated with a segmentation fault. With this update, the issue in the glusterfs client packages have been fixed, and the applications can access Red Hat Gluster Storage as expected. (BZ# 1369780).

All users of Red Hat Gluster Storage are advised to apply this update.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
