Updated storaged packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.

Description

The storaged packages provide a daemon, tools, and libraries to access and
manipulate disks as well as storage devices and technologies.

The storaged packages have been upgraded to upstream version 2.5.2, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. Most notably, the iSCSI discovery API has been redesigned to improve Challenge-Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP) authentication data to Login and Discover support. (BZ#1340359)

Users of storaged are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
