Updated etcd packages are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.
Description
The etcd package provides a highly available key value store for shared
configuration.
The etcd packages have been upgraded to upstream version 2.3.7, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. (BZ#1355798)
In addition, this update adds the following enhancement:
- The etcd packages have been updated to require the tls package version 1.2 or later, which provide higher strength ciphers. (BZ#1357621)
Users of etcd are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
