Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated packages such as rhsc-setup-plugins, redhat-access-plugin-rhsc, and org.ovirt.engine-root that adds an enhancement and fixes several bugs are now available for use with Red Hat Gluster Storage Console 3.1 Update 3.
Description
Red Hat Gluster Storage Console is a powerful and simple web based
Graphical User Interface for managing a Red Hat Gluster Storage
environment. It helps Storage Administrators to easily create and manage
multiple trusted storage pools. This includes features like elastically
expanding and shrinking a pool, creating and managing volumes.
This advisory adds an enhancement and fixes the following bugs:
- A Nagios plugin has been added to monitor if a replicate volume has entries that are not in sync with other bricks of the replica set. Now, administrators can ensure that they do not perform maintenance actions when there are pending heals, and can also monitor the heal progress by viewing the trending information on entries to be healed. (BZ 1312207)
- Red Hat Access APIs are no longer supported, and the access-plugin is removed from Red Hat Gluster Storage Console. Now, customers will no longer be able to query support cases or open a ticket from within Red Hat Gluster Storage Console. For more information, see https://access.redhat.com/solutions/2325641. (BZ 1290720)
- Previously, the glusterd services were stopped automatically while moving the host to maintenance. With this fix, users can select 'Stop Glusterd services' option while moving the host to maintenance to control the behaviour.(BZ 1311384)
- Previously, when the cluster version was edited in the "Edit Cluster" dialog box in the Red Hat Storage Console, the compatible version field got loaded with the highest available compatibility version and the current version of the cluster was not displayed. With this fix, the cluster version is displayed correctly. (BZ 1167572)
Users of Red Hat Gluster Storage Console are advised to upgrade to
these updated packages, which add these enhancements and fix several bugs.
