Topic
Updated etcd packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.
Description
The etcd package provides a highly-available key value store for shared
configuration.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Previously, adding a member to an etcd cluster failed when the database was bigger than 700 MB, resulting in loss of data. To fix this bug, the etcd packages have been rebuilt with the golang 1.6 package, and adding a member to an etcd cluster in the described situation no longer fails with data loss. (BZ#1328482)
Users of etcd are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.
