Updated osa-dispatcher, redstone-xmlrpc, spacewalk-backend, spacewalk-java and spacewalk-schema packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are now available for Red Hat Satellite 5.7.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a systems management tool for Linux-based infrastructures. It allows for provisioning, remote management and monitoring of multiple Linux deployments with a single, centralized tool.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• This update fixes the parsing of API calls that contain the "]]>" string. (BZ#681463)
• The osa-dispatcher service fails to start on Satellite Server if the server host name is not set correctly. This update enhances the associated error message that now provides instructions on how to fix the problem. (BZ#1277429)
• Prior to this update, a guest registered on an unregistered host was incorrectly assigned a regular entitlement instead of flex entitlement. Entitlements are now assigned correctly in the described case. (BZ#1320025)
• Previously, synchronization of the Base channel from a content ISO terminated with the "invalid byte sequence for encoding "UTF8": 0xc2 0x20" error message. This bug has been fixed and the synchronization now proceeds as expected. (BZ#1264467)
• Under certain circumstances, the satellite-sync command terminated unexpectedly with the following message:

TypeError: can't multiply sequence by non-int of type 'str'

This bug has been fixed and the aforementioned error no longer occurs. (BZ#1331271)

• The description of the spacewalk-schema package has been updated. (BZ#1303886)
• This update fixes an incorrect symbolic link in the spacewalk-taskomatic package. (BZ#1325097)
• Registering a Fedora 23 system to the Satellite Server terminated with the following message:

AttributeError: 'Server' object has no attribute 'virt_uuid'

This bug has been fixed and the registration is now completed successfully. (BZ#1324483)

• The previous update of the spacewalk-java package caused the Action Chain functionality not to work correctly. This bug has been fixed and Action Chain now works as expected. (BZ#1328964)
• Previously, canceled remote execution commands were not logged on Satellite Server. This bug has been fixed, and those commands are now properly logged. (BZ#1235119)
• A note has been added to the Schedule pages to explain the potential for a resulting mismatch between the Action column and the Total column. (BZ#1333443)
• The "Select All" button on the Errata page in the Satellite web UI previously ignored the filter setting. Consequently, the button always selected all packages. With this update, filter conditions are correctly processed. (BZ#1291031)
• Previously, a warning about "Unservable packages" was always displayed on the provisioning snapshot page in the Satellite web UI. With this update, the warning is only displayed when relevant. (BZ#1158981)
• Prior to this update, the 500 internal server error occurred when attempting to rollback a provisioning snapshot. This bug has been fixed and the error no longer occurs. (BZ#1322962)

This update also adds the following enhancements:

• The output of the satellite-sync command has been enhanced so that in case of the file size mismatch it lists the affected files. (BZ#1051018)
• With this update, the search field in the Satellite web UI has been extended to accept 250 characters instead of original 40. (BZ#1241945)
• This update adds the possibility to view only the synchronized channels when listing channel entitlements in the Satellite web UI. (BZ#1320965)

Users of Red Hat Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution
