Updated OpenStack Dashboard packages that resolve various issues are now
available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 7.0 (Kilo) for
RHEL 7.

Description

Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for
building a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud
running on commonly available physical hardware. This advisory includes
packages for:

• OpenStack Dashboard

OpenStack Dashboard (horizon) provides administrators and users a graphical
interface to access, provision, and automate cloud-based resources. The
dashboard allows cloud administrators to get an overall view of the size
and state of the cloud, and it provides end-users a self-service portal to
provision their own resources within the limits set by administrators.

Changes to the openstack-manila-ui component:

• With this update, the Manila user interface has been converted into a dashboard plug-in. Packstack can now be used to install and configure the Manila user interface elements alongside the dashboard. (BZ#1243445)

Changes to the python-django-horizon component:

• Rebase package(s) to version: 2015.1.3

Highlights and important bug fixes:

• Pulled in fixes for JavaScript and CSS into Kilo related to webroot settings. This makes use of new launch instance wizard available.
• Fixed a call for Cinder that caused Cinder to crash under some circumstances.
• Cinder usage now displays the sum of volume and snapshot usage.
• The hypervisors table is now sorted correctly.
• Removed sorting from flavor column. (BZ#1305906)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.
