Updated packages that resolve various issues are now available for Red Hat
OpenStack Platform 8.0 (Liberty) for RHEL 7.

Description

Red Hat OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for building a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud running on commonly available physical hardware.

Changes to the python-oslo-log component:

• Previously, oslo.log did not provide support for generating RFC-5424-compliant log messages, with the timestamp not being formatted correctly. With this update, an enhancement has been backported from the upstream Mitaka release that makes it possible to log messages in the RFC-5424 format, where the timestamp is formatted in the ISO 8601 format with the timezone. The "isotime" field must be used in the log format in the configuration to get the timestamp formatted as ISO 8601. (BZ#1304446)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
