Topic

Updated glusterfs packages that fix several bugs and add various
enhancements are now available for the Red Hat Common channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.

Description

GlusterFS is a key building block of Red Hat Gluster Storage. It is based
on a stackable user-space design and can deliver exceptional performance
for diverse workloads. GlusterFS aggregates various storage servers over
network interconnections into one large, parallel network file system.

The glusterfs packages have been upgraded to ensure compatibility with the
updated Red Hat Gluster Storage 3.1 update 2. (BZ#1284785)

Users of Red Hat Gluster Storage are advised to upgrade to these updated
packages, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
