Topic

Updated ovirt-node packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements
are now available.

Description

The ovirt-node package provides the utilities and recipes used to create and
configure the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor ISO image.

Note: Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Hypervisor is only available for the
Intel 64 and AMD64 architectures with virtualization extensions.

Changes to the ovirt-node component:

  • Due to a typo, some device discovery took more time than necessary. Now, the

typo has been fixed so that discovery only takes the necessary time.
(BZ#1280213)

  • With this release, the check box to enable SCSI ALUA has been removed from the

Remote Storage screen. (BZ#1289925)

  • Previously, when setting up a bonded device the bond device was using a

bonding mode, balance-rr, that was not suitable for all use cases. Now, safe
bonding mode defaults, active-backup, are used so that the bonding mode is
suitable for all regular use cases, including hosted engine. (BZ#1294340)
