Updated Red Hat Software Collections container images are now available in the Red Hat Container Registry.

Description

Red Hat Software Collections container images are based on the corresponding Software Collection and the latest rhel7:7.2 base image.

This update adds the latest version of glibc packages to the rhel7:7.2 base image. The updated glibc packages provide critical security fixes as described in the Security Advisory:

To pull a rhscl/<image_name> image, run the following command as root:

docker pull registry.access.redhat.com/rhscl/<image_name>

Solution

The container images provided by this update can be downloaded from the Red Hat Container Registry at registry.access.redhat.com using the "docker pull"
command.
