Updated OpenStack Image Service packages that resolve various issues are
now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 7.0 (Kilo)
for RHEL 7.

Description

Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform provides the facilities for
building a private or public infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud
running on commonly available physical hardware. This advisory includes
packages for the OpenStack image service.

The OpenStack image service (glance) provides discovery, registration, and
delivery services for disk and server images. It provides the ability to
copy or snapshot a server image, and immediately store it away. Stored
images can be used as a template to get new servers up and running quickly
and more consistently than installing a server operating system and
individually configuring additional services.

This update addresses the following issue:

• The PoolManager object was missing the connection_kw parameter, which

caused an attempt to create an HTTPS connection pool to fail with the
'ERROR (ClientException): The server has either erred or is incapable of
performing the requested operation.' (BZ#1293674)

Solution

Before applying this update, ensure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
