Updated resource-agents packages that fix several bugs are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The resource-agents packages provide the Pacemaker and RGManager service managers with a set of scripts. These scripts interface with several services to allow operating in a high availability (HA) environment.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• Previously, in the NovaCompute and NovaEvacuate scripts, the "evacuate" argument of the attrd_updater command contained a typo. Consequently, evacuation failed. With this update, the typo in the two scripts has been fixed, and evacuation no longer fails. (BZ#1293355)
• The fence_compute agent no longer supports the "reboot" action. Consequently, the "reboot" action cannot be used for evacuations anymore. With this update, the "off" action is used for evacuations instead of "reboot". (BZ#1304019)
• Previously, the nfsserver resource agent was unable to monitor all of its daemons, which could lead to incorrect status detection. Consequently, one or more of the required daemons might have stopped without the cluster noticing that the resource had failed. This update introduces further checks, and now the agent will retry once to give the resource an opportunity to resume working. As a result, nfsserver tries once to restart any missing daemons and fails if the process still is not running. (BZ#1304370)
• Previously, the galera resource agent was only able to connect to a local MariaDB socket. Consequently, galera could fail due to uncontrolled events, such as when the maximum number of connections was reached or when the connections were slow. With this update, galera now supports custom host and port options to benefit from MariaDB's extra-port and extra-max connections. As a result, galera is now able to connect to other MariaDB resources. (BZ#1304711)
• Previously, the NovaCompute resource agent managed the nova-compute process during instance migration. However, for OpenStack Platform director 8, nova-compute must be managed by systemd. With this update, NovaCompute has been replaced with the nova-compute-wait script, which waits for the migration to finish. (BZ#1304811)

Users of resource-agents are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.
