Topic

Updated atomic-openshift packages are now available that fix two bugs.

Description

OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat is the company's cloud computing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution designed for on-premise or private cloud deployments.

This update fixes the following bugs:

  • Due to improved security for persistent volume recycling introduced in OpenShift Enterprise 3.1, a bug fix was required for the recycle script. (BZ#1281726)
  • Previously when using persistent storage, pods using the PostgreSQL image could fail with status CrashLoopBackOff. This bug fix updates the images and these pods now run as expected when using persistent storage. (BZ#1276326)

All OpenShift Enterprise 3 users are advised to upgrade to these updated packages.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant to your system have been applied.

After ensuring all packages on each host have been updated, restart the atomic-openshift-master service on each master to complete this update.

This update is available via the Red Hat Network. Details on how to use the Red Hat Network to apply this update are available at https://access.redhat.com/articles/11258.
