Updated ceph packages that fix two bugs are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Description
Red Hat Ceph Storage is a massively scalable, open, software-defined storage platform that combines the most stable version of the Ceph storage system with a Ceph management platform, deployment tools, and support services.
This update fixes the following bugs:
- When the optional RADOS Block Device (RBD) feature was enabled on an image, an attempt to write within the last 64 GB interval of the image beyond the first 64 GB on the disk caused the Ceph cluster to terminate unexpectedly. In addition, the object map became invalidated. A patch has been applied to fix this bug, and the Ceph cluster no longer crashes in the described situation. (BZ#1249004, BZ#1252084)
Users of ceph are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these bugs.
