Updated rh-python34 packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat
Software Collections.

Description

Python is an interpreted, interactive, object-oriented programming language that
supports modules, classes, exceptions, high-level dynamic data types, and
dynamic typing. The rh-python34 packages provide a recent stable release of
Python 3.4 with a number of additional utilities and a database connector for
PostgreSQL.

This update fixes the following bug:

• A security fix to httpd broke backward compatibility with mod_wsgi 4.x builds,

due to an unusual use of the httpd API in this module. Consequently, mod_wsgi
terminated unexpectedly with a segmentation fault in daemon mode when handling
requests. With this update, the change previously made to the httpd API has been
reflected in the mod_wsgi code, and mod_wsgi no longer crashes in this scenario.

Users of rh-python34 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix
this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
