An updated perl-Test-Harness package that fixes one bug is now available for Red
Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The perl-Test-Harness package allows running Perl tests and automatically
aggregating their results, as well as generating the results to standard output.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Previously, a warning about an uninitialized value was reported when Perl

tests were run in taint mode, used the prove(1) tool, and no PERL5LIB
environment variable was defined. An upstream fix checking for the PERL5LIB
variable has been backported. As a result, warnings are no longer displayed in
standard error output in this situation. (BZ#1091376)

Users of perl-Test-Harness are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
fixes this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
