Updated python-backports packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The backports namespace is a namespace reserved for features backported from the
Python standard library to older versions of Python 2.

This update fixes the following bug:

• In Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0, the python-backports packages were changed

into a noarch package for cleanup. However, this change caused that
python-backports no longer supported arch-specific submodules such as
python-backports-lzma. To fix this bug, the cleanup has been reverted, and
python-backports do work with python-backports-lzma 0.0.2-8 or later versions
again. (BZ#1113671)

Users of python-backports are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
