Updated haproxy package that fixes several bugs and add various enhancements is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.
Description
The haproxy package provides a reliable, high-performance network load balancer for TCP and HTTP-based applications. It is particularly suited for web sites crawling under very high loads while needing persistence or Layer 7 processing.
The haproxy package has been upgraded to upstream version 1.5.4, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. (BZ#1111714)
This update also fixes the following bugs:
- Previously, HAProxy was not compiled with SSL support. As a consequence, users were unable to use the SSL features included in HAProxy. This update adds SSL support to the haproxy package. (BZ#1112184)
In addition, this update adds the following enhancement:
- Previously, the halog utility did not have a man page documenting its usage. With this update, a man page has been added. As a result, the haproxy package now includes complete halog documentation. (BZ#1078461)
Users of haproxy are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fix these bugs and add these enhancements.
