An updated cloud-init package that fixes several bugs and adds various enhancements is now available for the Red Hat Common channel of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The cloud-init package provides a set of init scripts for cloud instances. Cloud instances need special scripts to run during initialization to retrieve and install ssh keys, and to let the user run various scripts.

The cloud-init package has been upgraded to upstream version 0.7.6, which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. (BZ#1164385)

Users of cloud-init are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes these bugs and adds these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
