Updated python-backports-lzma packages that fix one bug are now available for
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 Extras.

Description

The standard library module lzma included in Python 3.3 and later provides
support for working with LZMA and XZ compressed files through the XZ Utils C
library. The python-backports-lzma package backports the lzma module for use on
older versions of Python where it was not included.

This update fixes the following bug:

• The python-backports package update from RHBA-2014:19520 will result in

python-backports owning the
/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/backports/__init.py* file which was being
owned by python-backports-lzma so far. This update of python-backports-lzma
gives up ownership of said files, thus resolving possible ownership conflicts
with python-backports. (BZ#1158538)

Users of python-backports-lzma are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
