An updated katello package that fixes a virt-who issue is now available for Red
Hat Satellite 6.

Description

Red Hat Satellite is a system management solution that allows organizations to
configure and maintain their systems without necessity to provide public
Internet access to their servers or other client systems. It also performs
provisioning and configuration management of predefined standard operating
environments.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• Previously, any attempt to use the virt-who agent to associate guests to the

host they were running on resulted in an Internal Server Error. This update
corrects the communication between the Satellite 6 server and the back end
Candlepin engine. The virt-who agent can now be used as expected. (BZ#1142315)

Users of Red Hat Satellite 6 are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which fix this bug. The katello-service must be restarted for this update to
take effect.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
