Updated redhat-ds-base packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat
Directory Server 8.2.

Description

The redhat-ds-base packages provide Red Hat Directory Server, which is an LDAPv3
compliant server. The base packages include the Lightweight Directory Access
Protocol (LDAP) server and command-line utilities for server administration.

This update fixes the following bug:

• Previously, the administrator console of Red Hat Directory Server failed to

load the Java Archive (JAR) file for the directory server. As a consequence, Red
Hat Directory Server reported an incorrect server version. With this update, the
affected JAR file loads properly and Red Hat Directory Server reports the
correct server version. (BZ#1131889)

Users of Red Hat Directory Server 8.2 are advised to upgrade to these updated
packages, which fix this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
