An updated perl-Test-Pod package that fixes several bugs is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The perl-Test-Pod package provides a check that examines Plain Old Documentation (POD) files for errors or warnings. POD is a lightweight markup language used to document the Perl programming language.

This update fixes the following bugs:

• Prior to this update, the perl-Test-Pod source files declared incorrect license information. In this update, the license data has been updated to be consistent with the package license. (BZ#1065946)
• Previously, the perl-Test-Pod specification file contained a redundant runtime dependency. In this update, this dependency has been removed. (BZ#1065944)
• Due to a missing declaration of a runtime dependency in the specification file, the perl-Test-Pod utility sometimes failed to execute. This update adds the dependency, and the perl-Test-Pod package declares all the needed runtime dependencies. (BZ#1066006)

Users of perl-Test-Pod are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which fixes these bugs.

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
