Updated haproxy packages that fix several bugs and add various enhancements are
now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.

Description

The haproxy packages provide a reliable, high-performance network load balancer
for TCP and HTTP-based applications. It is particularly suited for web sites
crawling under very high loads while needing persistence or Layer7 processing.

The haproxy package has been upgraded to upstream version 1.5.2, which provides
a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version. (BZ#1120228)

In addition, this update adds the following enhancement:

• Previously, HAProxy was not compiled with SSL support. As a consequence, users

were unable to use the SSL features included in HAProxy. This update adds SSL
support to the haproxy packages. (BZ#1120673)

Users of haproxy are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix
these bugs and add these enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
