RHBA-2014:1001 - Bug Fix Advisory
Synopsis
openstack-keystone bug fix update
Type/Severity
Bug Fix Advisory
Red Hat Lightspeed patch analysis
Identify and remediate systems affected by this advisory.
Topic
Updated openstack-keystone packages that fix one bug are now available for Red
Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 4.0.
Description
The OpenStack Identity service (keystone) authenticates and authorizes
OpenStack users by keeping track of users and their permitted activities.
The Identity service supports multiple forms of authentication including
user name and password credentials, token-based systems, and AWS-style
logins.
This release fixes a bug that prevented python-qpid versions newer than 0.18-11
from working properly with the OpenStack Identity service (keystone).
All openstack-keystone users are advised to upgrade to these updated
packages, which correct this issue.
