Updated spacewalk-java packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat
Satellite 5.6.

Description

Red Hat Network Satellite is a systems management tool for Linux-based
infrastructures. It allows for provisioning, monitoring, and remote management
of multiple Linux deployments with a single, centralized tool. The
spacewalk-java packages contain the code for the Java version of the Spacewalk
Web site.

This update fixes the following bug:

• The RHBA-2014:0228 advisory, released on 2014-03-03, introduced a bug that

caused cloned channels created by the spacewalk-clone-by-date utility to contain
packages they should not contain if the user was running spacewalk-java-2.0.2-59
and spacewalk-utils-2.0.2-13, and also if the user did not use the
"--no-errata-sync" option. This update fixes the spacewalk-java rpm so that the
cloned channels contain the correct packages. Users that are affected and have
cloned channels after applying erratum RHBA-2014:0228 are recommended to delete
these recently cloned channels and clone them again after applying this erratum.

All users of Red Hat Network Satellite are advised to upgrade to these updated
packages, which fix this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata relevant
to your system have been applied.
