Updated oracle-selinux packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat
Network Satellite 5.4 and 5.5.

Description

Red Hat Network Satellite provides a solution to organizations requiring
absolute control over and privacy of the maintenance and package deployment of
their servers.

This update fixes the following bug:

• After upgrading the glibc packages to version 2.12 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux

6 servers with installed Red Hat Network Satellite 5.4 or 5.5 using the embedded
Oracle database, SELinux started to generate AVC denial messages every 5 to 10
seconds. This was caused by recent changes in glibc. With this update, the
oracle-selinux policy has been modified to reflect these glibc changes, which
resolves the aforementioned problem. (BZ#1029894)

All users of Red Hat Network Satellite with embedded Oracle database are advised
to upgrade to these updated packages, which fix this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
