Updated xorg-x11-drv-ati packages that fix one bug and add various enhancements
are now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.
Description
The xorg-x11-drv-ati packages provide a driver for ATI graphics cards for the
X.Org implementation of the X Window System.
This update fixes the following bug:
- Previously, the hot plug detection and mode setting were not performed
automatically. As a consequence, the user had to run the utility program to
enforce the changes when plugging in multiple monitors. The driver has been
updated, and the hotplug detection and mode setting now work as expected.

In addition, this update adds the following enhancements:
- Support for new graphics processing unit (GPU) hardware has been added.
(BZ#795919) - Support for hardware acceleration, including OpenGL, of the Radeon HD 7000
Series has been added. (BZ#822280, BZ#879102, BZ#882086)
Users of xorg-x11-drv-ati are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix this bug and add these enhancements.

to your system have been applied.
