Duplicate key value error while logging back in to SAM after timed out in ldap
mode

Description

An update is available for Red Hat Subscription Asset Manager 1.3 which
contains an important bug fix.

Red Hat Subscription Asset Manager acts as an on-premise service to manage
subscription information and works as a proxy for software updates on
client machines.

This erratum contains the following bug fix:

• When Subscription Asset Manager was configured to use LDAP authentication,

the UI returned a Duplicate Key error when a user attempted to log back in
after a session timed out. (BZ#1012609)

Solution

This errata provides new database migrations which update the tables to avoid
the error. User should execute a rake db:migrate if 1.3 has already been
installed.
