OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat release 1.2.3 is now available with several bug
fixes.

Description

OpenShift Enterprise by Red Hat is the company's cloud computing
Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) solution designed for on-premise or private cloud
deployments.

Installing the updated packages and restarting the OpenShift Enterprise services
are the only requirements for this update.

Customers are advised to upgrade to Red Hat OpenShift Enterprise 1.2.3.

Space precludes documenting all of these changes in this advisory. Users are
directed to the OpenShift Enterprise Technical Notes for information on the most
significant updates and fixes:

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

  • BZ - 988478 - Can't mco ping new nodes after upgrade - Change mcollective conf from "stomp" to "activemq"
  • BZ - 990451 - oo-admin-ctl-usage couldn't work when MongoSSL enabled
  • BZ - 995492 - Mcollective plugin disconnects from Stomp after each call
  • BZ - 995498 - Please rebase ruby193-rubygem-stomp to at least 1.2.2
  • BZ - 999182 - Upgrade from OSE 1.1 to 1.2 breaks auth passthrough for JBossTools
  • BZ - 1000184 - nsupdate commands do not explicitly specify zone to modify
  • BZ - 1001151 - [oo-accept-node] Fails to check if users are properly in cgroups
  • BZ - 1001459 - post script will throw error message when upgrading rubygem-openshift-origin-auth-remote-user and auth plugin config file is not named to "openshift-origin-auth-remote-user.conf"
  • BZ - 1002919 - scalable app fail to be restarted after upgrade
  • BZ - 1003505 - Undefined method `remove_httpd_proxy' error was shown when rolling back gear during move operation
  • BZ - 1003645 - cron jobs fail due to selinux context mismatch
  • BZ - 1004868 - EAP cartridge maps to specific EAP release
