Updated vdsm packages that fix various bugs are now available.

Description

VDSM is a management module that serves as a Red Hat Enterprise
Virtualization Manager agent on Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization
Hypervisor or Red Hat Enterprise Linux hosts.

All users managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux Virtualization hosts using Red Hat
Enterprise Virtualization Manager are advised to install these updated packages
which fix these bugs.

These updated packages will be provided to users of Red Hat Enterprise
Virtualization Hypervisor in the next rhev-hypervisor6 errata package.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

  • BZ - 885777 - 3.1.z vdsm: cannot migrate VM after live storage migration
  • BZ - 891074 - 3.1.z - vdsm: Cannot find master domain errors from vdsm after creating posix domain with ext4 fs
  • BZ - 891343 - 3.1.z - [vdsm] lease files are not removed when removing volumes in file SDs v3
  • BZ - 892667 - 3.1.2 - upgrade from 4.9-113.4 (z-stream) to 4.9.6-44.1 (GA) fails as vdsm doesn't require correct selinux-policy package
