Topic

Updated rgmanager packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5.

Description

The rgmanager packages contain the Red Hat Resource Group Manager which provides
the ability to create and manage high-availability server applications in the
event of system downtime.

This update fixes the following bug:

  • The filesystem and clusterfs resource agents were, in some cases, unable to

unmount file systems that were exported using the nfsd utility. This update adds
a new configuration option, "nfsrestart", as a workaround which ensures that the
system is successfully unmounted. This new option is not compatible with the
nfsserver resource agent, and requires the "force_unmount" option to be enabled.
(BZ#827390)

All users of rgmanager are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
fix this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. Details on how to use the Red Hat
Network to apply this update are available at
