Topic

An updated rhev-guest-tools-iso package is available that fixes various bugs.

Description

The rhev-guest-tools-iso package contains tools and drivers. These tools and
drivers are required by supported Windows guest operating systems when
installed as guests on Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization.

This updated rhev-guest-tools-iso package contains the following updated
component:

vdagent-win-0.1-10

This updated component fixes the following bugs:

  • When re-opening a SPICE session on a multi-screen guest, mouse clicks were

not synchronized with the cursor location correctly. An update has been made
and mouse clicks are now synchronized correctly with the guest (BZ#805003).

  • When connecting to a Windows 7 guest under WAN conditions the vdagent did

not restart within the allocated timeout period of 3 seconds. This prevented
the guest's mouse from responding to user input. An update has been made to
ensure that the vdagent starts correctly to accept new session connections.
As a result the guest's mouse will now respond correctly to user input under
WAN conditions (BZ#805005).

All Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization users are advised to upgrade to this
updated package which fixes these bugs.

Solution
