Updated fence-agents packages that fix one bug are now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

Red Hat fence agents are a collection of scripts to handle remote power
management for cluster devices. They allow failed or unreachable nodes to be
forcibly restarted and removed from the cluster.

This update fixes the following bug:

  • Previously, the fence_vmware_soap fence agent did not expose the full path to

a virtual machine that is required for fencing. With this update,
fence_vmware_soap has been modified to support identification of virtual
machines as expected. (BZ#811873)

All users of fence-agents are advised to upgrade to these updated packages,
which fix this bug.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
