An updated iwl1000-firmware package that fixes various bugs and adds several
enhancements is now available for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The iwl1000-firmware package provides the firmware required by the iwglan driver
for Linux to support Intel Wireless WiFi Link 1000 series adapters.

The iwl1000-firmware package has been upgraded to upstream version 39.31.5.1,
which provides a number of bug fixes and enhancements over the previous version.

All users of the iwlagn driver are advised to upgrade to this updated
iwl1000-firmware package, which resolves these issues and adds these
enhancements.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
