Topic

An updated arptables_jf package that fixes a bug is now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5.

Description

The arptables_jf utility controls the arpfilter packet filtering code in the
Linux kernel.

This updated arptables_jf package fixes the following bug:

  • Prior to this update the hardware address length, "--arhln", option could not

be used together with the mangle hardware, "mangle-hw-s" and "mangle-hw-d",
options. An erroneous error message, "no hln defined", was displayed. This
updated package fixes this bug and the "--arhln" option can now be used together
with the mangle hardware options. (BZ#576429)

All users of arptables_jf are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which
fixes this bug.
