Topic

Updated rhn-solaris-bootstrap and rhnpush packages that fix one bug in the Red
Hat Network Satellite Server Solaris client components are now available for Red
Hat Network Satellite 5.4.

Description

Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite provides a solution to organizations requiring
absolute control over and privacy of the maintenance and package deployment of
their servers. It allows organizations to utilize the benefits of the Red Hat
Network without having to provide public Internet access to their servers or
other client systems.

This update fixes the following bug in components shipped as part of the Red Hat
Network Satellite Server Solaris client and rhnpush for Solaris:

  • The solaris2mpm and rhn_check utilities have been adapted to support patch

clusters that use the new format from October 2009. (BZ#559092)

Users of rhnpush and the Red Hat Network Satellite Server Solaris client are
advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve these issues.
