Topic
An updated python-imaging package that fixes a bug is now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5.
Description
The Python Imaging Library (PIL) adds image processing capabilities to the
Python interpreter.
This update fixes the following bug:
- The shebang lines in Python executables have been changed to
"#!/usr/bin/python" to ensure the Python interpreter installed in the system is
used. (BZ#521304)
All users of python-imaging are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which resolves this issue.
Solution
Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
