Topic

An updated gtk2 package that fixes various bugs is now available for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5.

Description

GTK+ is a multi-platform toolkit for creating graphical user interfaces.
Offering a complete set of widgets, GTK+ is suitable for projects ranging from
small one-off tools to complete application suites.

  • Previously, the file chooser dialog in GTK+ did not open the default selected

file by pressing the Enter key when the location field was visible. With this
update, the default selected file opens regardless of the visibility of the
location. (BZ#648555)

  • Previously, the file chooser dialog in GTK+ did not change into the default

directory by pressing the Enter key when the location field was visible. With
this update, the default selected directory opens regardless of the visibility
of the location. (BZ#648557)

All GTK+ users are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
these issues.

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via the Red Hat Network. Details on how to
