Topic

An updated dosfstools package that fixes a bug is now available.

Description

dosfstools is set of tools for creating and maintaining FAT-type file systems.

This updated dosfstools package fixes a bug which occurred when dosfslabel
set a label. The dosfslabel utility incorrectly returned a non-zero exit
code even when it had actually succeeded in setting the label. This
behavior could have caused problems with the Anaconda system installer or
other programs using the dosfslabel utility. In this updated package, if
dosfslabel in fact succeeds in setting the label, the exit code for success
is returned, thus resolving the problem.

All users of dosfstools are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which resolves this issue.

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
