Updated pvm packages that fix various bugs are now available.

Description

Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM3) is a library and daemon that allows
distributed processing environments to be constructed on heterogeneous
machines and architectures.

These updated packages fix the following bugs:

• random segmentation faults of xpvm, the graphical user interface of pvm,

on AMD64 and Intel® 64 systems, have been resolved.

• pvm failed to start. In these updated packages, pvm starts successfully.

Users of pvm are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
