Updated dhcpv6 packages that fix a bug are now available.

Description

The dhcpv6 package implements the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
(DHCP) for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) networks in accordance with
RFC 3315: Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6). DHCP is a
protocol that allows individual devices on an IP network to get their own
network configuration information. It consists of: dhcp6c(8), the DHCPv6
client daemon; dhcp6s(8), the DHCPv6 server daemon; and dhcp6r(8), the
DHCPv6 relay agent.

The dhcp6r and dhcp6s init scripts returned certain error codes that did
not comply with guidelines for various causes of failure. In these updated
packages, the init scripts have been updated to closely conform to
distribution-wide guidelines.

Users of dhcpv6 are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve this issue.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
