Topic

Updated newt packages that fix a bug are now available.

Description

Newt is a programming library for color text-mode, widget-based user
interfaces. Newt can be used to add stacked windows, entry widgets,
checkboxes, radio buttons, labels, plain text fields, and so on, to
text mode user interfaces.

The Python snack module "EntryWindow()" function was unable to handle
preset values. When preset values were used, a traceback occurred. These
updated packages extend the API for the snack module "EntryWindow()"
function. The "prompts" argument now accepts three different parameter
configurations: a list of tuples composed of two strings, a list of tuples
composed of a string and Entry types, or a simple list of strings.

Users of newt are advised to upgrade to these updated packages, which
resolve this issue.
