An updated xorg-x11-drv-nv package that fixes various bugs is now available.

Description

xorg-x11-drv-nv provides a driver for NVIDIA cards for the X.org
implementation of the X Window System.

This erratum fixes the following issues:

  • Update to 2.1.6 release to fix many LVDS and G80 related issues.
  • Certain slides in OpenOffice would take up to 1 minute to draw in

presentation mode.

  • System installer stuck in top-left corner of the screen on G80 chips.

All users are advised to upgrade to this updated package, which resolves
these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
