Updated iptables packages that resolve several issues are now available.

Description

The iptables utility controls the network packet filtering code in the
Linux kernel.

These updated iptables packages provide fixes for the following bugs:

  • a problem in the build of the extension modules which resulted in missing

extensions.

  • the iptables man page has been changed to reflect the fact that the

option "-m dscp -dscp <value>" is able to match a 6-bit DSCP field within
the TOS field in the IP header against a valid numeric value in the range 0-63.

Users are advised to upgrade to these updated iptables packages, which
resolve these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
