Topic

An updated system-config-httpd package that fixes a bug with the generated
httpd.conf file is now available.

Description

system-config-httpd is a graphical user interface that allows the user to
configure an httpd server.

A bug when generating the httpd.conf file has been fixed where an outdated
template for the httpd.conf file was being used which contained modules and
directives that were incorrect for the current httpd. system-config-httpd now
uses a new template based on the current httpd server package.

All users of system-config-httpd are advised to upgrade to this updated
package, which resolves this issue.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat Network to download
and update your packages. To do so, run the following command (as root):

pup

Alternatively, for a command-line interface, run the following command instead:

yum update

To register your system to RHN, use the following command:

rhn_register
