Updated hal packages that fix various bugs are now available.

Description

The hal packages contains a daemon that maintains a database of the
hardware on the system.

This package fixes a number of bugs

• lock files are not created with predictable permissions.
• IBM VIO devices are not recognized.
• IBM EBus devices are not recognized.
• Per-machine suspend/resume quirks are now provided.

Users should upgrade to these updated packages, which resolve these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied.
