Updated gzip packages that address various bugs are now available.

Description

The gzip package contains the GNU gzip data compression program.

A regression caused gzip not to open some special cases of lzh compressed
data archives.

In previous versions of gzip the -r option would try to restore the last
accessed time (atime) and last modified time (mtime) of the directory. In
this new version these values are not restored.

Users of gzip should upgrade to these updated packages, which fix these
issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure that all previously-released
errata relevant to your system have been applied. Use Red Hat
Network to download and update your packages. To launch the Red Hat
Update Agent, use the following command:

up2date
