An updated glibc-kernheaders package which fixes various bugs is now
available.

Description

The glibc-kernheaders package includes the C header files from the Linux
kernel. The header files define structures and constants that are needed
for building standard programs and rebuilding the glibc package.

This update addresses the following issues:

• The <asm/z90crypt.h> header file was absent on S390 machines.
• Some netfilter headers were absent, resulting in missing iptables

functionality.

• The definition of XTABS on PowerPC did not conform to POSIX.
• The layout of the IP packet in <linux/ip.h> was incorrect on big-endian

hosts.

Users of glibc-kernheaders are advised to upgrade to this updated package,
which resolves these issues.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.

This update is available via Red Hat Network. To use Red Hat Network,
launch the Red Hat Update Agent with the following command:

up2date

This will start an interactive process that will result in the appropriate
RPMs being upgraded on your system.
